BBK of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Eskan Bank to become the first financial institution to participate in developing heritage properties under the landmark Muharraq City Development Project.
Signed at the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2026, the agreement will see BBK restore and develop heritage properties within a historic Muharraq neighbourhood in alignment with environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles .
