HORSERACING – Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) announced yesterday that it has renewed its sponsorship agreement with national carrier Gulf Air. Under the renewed deal, which is part of REHC’s commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and supporting its development plans, Gulf Air will continue to serve as REHC’s official carrier for the 2026-27 Golden Jubilee season, supporting the club’s efforts to further establish Bahrain as a leading destination for international racing fixtures.
The agreement was signed by REHC High Committee member and acting CEO Yusuf Buheji and Gulf Air CEO Martin Gauss.
On this occasion, Buheji stated that the renewal reflects the strength of the strategic partnership between REHC and Gulf Air.
For his part, Gauss welcomed the renewal, reaffirming Gulf Air’s commitment to continuing its support for sporting initiatives and events that showcase the kingdom’s position and prominence at both regional and international levels.
