MOTORSPORT – BAHRAINI karting sensation Tariq Soofi is entering a crucial stage in his international racing career as he gears up for back-to-back premier championships at the renowned South Garda Karting Track in Lonato, Italy.
Tariq will be competing in both the Trofeo Delle Industrie meeting from November 12 to 15 and then in round two of the WSK Final Cup 2026 from November 18 to 22, presenting a vital opportunity to showcase his competitive edge against the world’s top drivers in the Mini GR3 category.
“I am working hard with high focus during this stage,” said Tariq, who is supported by continuous set-up and performance work from his world-renowned Italian team Lenovo Kali Kart. “My main objective is to place in the upper-middle ranks so I can reach the top positions in the finals.”
Tariq is competing in the 2026 season with Lenovo Kali Kart, under Minardi management, powered by DAG Management and Consulting Ltd. He is sponsored by Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), Shepherd Logistics, Holistic Medical and Rehabilitation Centre, and Brain Wave.
