Dubai: Two persons died and eight others were injured when a vehicle rammed into a mini bus carrying workers on Dubai's Al Wasl Road.
A police officer said four workers sustained serious injuries while others had moderate injuries.
The first victim died on the spot, while the second died in hospital.
The accident occurred when a woman driving a sports utility vehicle drove onto the highway without paying attention to the on-coming traffic, said Dubai Traffic director Brigadier Saif Mohair Al Mazroui.
