TENNIS – BAHRAIN Tennis Academy (BTA) held its 21st Annual Junior Awards Ceremony for six-and-under players at the Dilmun Club in Saar.
The ceremony was held to honour the most outstanding players of the 2024-25 season.
Awards were presented in 12 categories, some of which included Best Ball Tracker, Biggest Trier, and Kindest Teammate.
Academy coaches short-listed five players for each award and then selected a winner after taking into account each player’s skill level and experience in the game.
Winners of the prestigious Player of the Year awards were Emile de Vries (four-and-under) and Fahad Ahmed Saif (six-and-under).
Other category winners included Fares Jedidi, Khalifa Jamal, Hedi Ben Lassoued, Ethan Revelant, Mohamed Dadabai, Paisley Davis, Rowen Davis and Mohamed Dawood.
The awards were presented by BTA director Dan Barrie.
“Due to the growing number of young children at the academy, this season we decided for the first time to create a separate division for six-and-under players at our awards ceremony,” said Barrie.
“As a result, we were really happy to be able to acknowledge the achievements of a lot more of our little super stars.”
