Dubai: Employees working with the private sector companies and establishments will get a day off on Monday, corresponding to the 1st of January, 2018, marking the advent of the New Year.
The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation Nasser bin Thani Al-Hamli today issued a circular announcing the one-day recess according to Emarat Alyoum.
He congratulated UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
He also extended New Year greetings to the UAE Federal Council members, citizens and residents.
