ZAIN Racing, Zain Bahrain’s in-house team for racing events, secured an impressive second place at the Gulf Run 24 Hours race at Sirbb Circuit, Kuwait.
The Zain Racing team maintained strong form throughout after starting the race in pole position, narrowly missing out on first place to DT from France.
“This race was a true test of endurance and technical skill, and Zain Racing proved once again that it can hold its own against international competitors,” said Zain Bahrain Corporate Events Manager Ghazi Faisal Radhi, who also manages the team.
“We have evolved into a truly world-class team and take pride in representing Bahrain and Zain Bahrain at such prestigious international events.”
In addition to the endurance race, the area around the track was converted into an exciting carnival before the race, with several activities, local stores and restaurants available to participants and visitors.
The race was organised by Gulf Run under the SODI Word Series (SWS) banner, which is the karting world’s premier ranking agency.
The Zain Racing team, which was officially recognised by SWS as Semi-Pro following a stellar season last year, consisted of drivers Khalid Alhammadi, Najashi Rashdan, Abdulla Alshehab, Florian Garcia, and Mohammed Ameen. The team is gearing up for the next race to be held in Bahrain.
