Dhofar – Two Asian expatriates were killed in a gas explosion on a fishing boat at the port of Mirbat on the region of Dhofar.
Oman's Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said that 15 other Asian people sustained multiple injuries due to the blast.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that the injured fishermen had been taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
