ALBA-RED Stormed into the under-14 semi-finals of the CBA-Alba Invitation Cricket Tournament by beating Pakistan Urdu School by 10 runs.
Batting first, Alba-Red scored 88 runs for five wickets with captain Rishab Ramesh (37) the top scorer while Aryan Koul contributed 18 and Anirudh Nair remained unbeaten on 10.
Usman Mujahid claimed two wickets for 10 runs for Pakistan Urdu School.
In reply, Pakistan Urdu School were restricted to 76 for two wickets. Adeel Asif (34*) was the top scorer while Abdullah Yaqub remained unbeaten on 28.
Aravind Rajeev claimed two wickets for 15 runs. Rishab Ramesh was declared man-of-the-match.
The semi-finals will be played today and the finals on Tuesday.
