LOCAL band Bloodshel is set to release their debut album, Phase 1, this Saturday.
The home-grown four-piece heavy metal band includes Jassim Algillidary, Ali Dashti, Salem Sulaibeekh and Abdulla Adel.
Since they formed Bloodshel in 2012, they have performed at numerous events in Bahrain, building their fan base and showcasing their talent.
“We have a very good chemistry as the band didn’t change members from the beginning, and together we started getting stronger and sounding better,” said Mr
Adel.
“Heavy metal is our genre because it’s the root of metal.”
Bloodshel’s first album contains eight tracks all written by the band members.
“I usually write when I’m filled with emotions, whether they are good or bad,” explained Mr Algillidary.
“The lyrics (on the album) describe a journey of an individual, the highs and lows of his life.”
The launch event at 8pm on Saturday will be held at Republiq Lounge at the Park Regis Lotus Hotel in Juffair, where two local bands – Motor Militia and Smouldering in Forgotten – will also perform. “We are proud to be a band that represents Bahrain and its music scene,” added Mr Adel.
The album will be available at Room 2 Rock in Saar, Sonder in Sanad, and Gattan guitar clinic in Tubli. It will also be available at the venue of the band’s every show.
