Doha: Qatar has been ranked as the most advanced state among Arab nations by United Nation's Human Development Report (HDR).
This is the third consecutive year when Qatar has been ranked number one among the GCC countries, reported Daily Sabah.
Overall, Qatar came in 32nd place in terms of its "Human Development Index" (HDI) measure out of 188 countries in the UN's 2015 report.
In 2014 HDI rank, the countries which were close to Qatar to some extent in population size are Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
