A 72-year-old man was baffled when his untidy garden shed, was magically cleaned up several days in a row.
Stephen McKears, 72, first noticed objects moving in his shed in Severn Beach, South Gloucestershire a month ago.
McKears, a retired electrician, noticed plastic clips in the old ice cream tub filled with peanuts kept to feed birds, but each night more objects began to accumulate in the tub.
To confirm that someone was actually cleaning up after him, McKears emptied the tub each night, scattering the nuts and bolts across his shed, only to discover the mess had been cleaned by the morning.
To get to the bottom of this mystery he asked his neighbour Rodney Holbrook, 70, to help him.
After weeks of ‘mysterious tidying up,’ McKears and Holbrook decided to set up a camera to uncover the puzzle and caught the mouse in the ‘clean up act’ seen in this clip from March 9 courtesy SWSN.
