MOHAMMED Akeel and playing partner Iftikhar Butt narrowly won the penultimate competition of the six-week-long Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series with a score of 24 points on countback at Royal Golf Club (RGC).
Ronan Smith and Sebastian Woodrow claimed second place for a second consecutive week, also with 24 points.
Playing partners Mike Brightmore and Jamie Bowen were third with 22 points, also on countback.
Khalifa Daij and Yousif Janahi won the “nearest the pin” side contests on holes 12 and 16 respectively.
The series has one competition left to play for the overall title with Ali Al Kowari and Yousif Janahi currently on top of the leader board with nine points.
Three pairs of competitors sit close behind with eight points.
RGC’s tournament coordinator Sohail Singh presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
