BAHRAINI fighter pilots have played a major role in defeating the Islamic State (IS) by sharing their experience of the region with coalition airmen, according to a US Navy official.
USS John Stennis executive officer Captain Patrick Thompson told the GDN that Bahrain’s F-16 fighter pilots have added “more airpower” in the region in the fight against the terror outfit .
