Two hundred Emirati women have applied countrywide to take part in the Federal National Council (FNC) 2019 which will be held in October.
They make 36 per cent of the overall number of candidates which stands at 555 of whom 355 are men (64%).
The final list of the eligible candidates who will run in the FNC elections 2019 will be announced on the 3rd of September after scrutinising all the applications, Albayan reported.
The National Elections Committee previously announced that candidate registrations will take place between 18th and 22nd August. The preliminary list of candidates will be announced on 25th August.
