Jeddah: The first ever Saudi women’s football championship will kickstart on Friday (October 4) in Jeddah.
The Jeddah Women’s League features six teams which will vie for the trophy in the first season.
They are: The Storm, Jeddah Eagles, King United, White Lion, Jeddah Wave and Mirass.
The Jeddah Women’s League will be affiliated with the Saudi Community Sport Federation.
Saudi women referees will officiate the matches of the championship which concludes on December 6, according to Okaz.
