COMPETITIONS aimed at raising awareness on the appropriate use of antibiotics among school children is set to be held in Bahrain.
The Med-Athlon 2019, featuring poster designing, speech and quiz competitions, is part of a health awareness initiative by the American Mission Hospital (AMH).
The contests are open to all school children aged above 14 and the final will be held on November 9 at Al Raja School, Manama.
Three winners from all categories will be awarded trophies and gift prizes, while the school which scores the maximum points will be presented with the prestigious AMH Health is Wealth Trophy.
