The Levante, revealed in 2016 Geneva Motor Show, has similar features to other cars from Maserati lineup that includes Quattroporte, Ghibli, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio models.
The technical details of the car are yet to be revealed, but the Levant would feature electronic suspension with controlled damping and air springs, all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic specifically tailored for the SUV according to reports.
It would offer both gas and diesel engines.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the car may have two V6 engines which has a 350 and 450 horsepower rating. A V8 engine with a rumoured 580 hp can be chosen as one of the engine options.
The price for the car is expected to be around $100,000.
The car is expected to launch in Europe initially in spring, then debut across the globe soon after.
