Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) discussed ways with the emirate's land department to jointly boost the infrastructure and the services provided to investors and developers in the real estate sector to the highest international standards, said a senior official.
Several topics of interest to Dubai-based developers came up for discussion at a key meeting between Dewa managing director and chief executive Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer and Dubai Land Department (DLD) director general Sultan Butti Bin Mejren.
The duo also agreed upon introducing new facilities to achieve the Dubai Plan 2021, said a statement from Dewa.
Both the government entities aim to transform Dubai into a smart, integrated, and connected city, creating the infrastructure to support the economy, and other social aspects of the emirate at a world-class level, in regard to quality, efficiency, and meeting the needs of the community, said Al Tayer after the meeting.
He pointed out the importance of co-operation between Dewa and DLD, emphasising the positive effects of strong relations and strategic partnerships in pursuit of success, excellence, and business, to support sustainable development in Dubai, and the UAE.-TradeArabia News Service
