Manama: Grammy Award-winning artist Seal is “beyond excited” for his first show in Bahrain next week.
The singer-songwriter will be performing at Arad Fort as part of this year’s Spring of Culture festival.
The British artist is famous for his smash hit Kiss From a Rose, which propelled him to multi-platinum status and world fame.
“It’s one of the many perks of this job to see new places and experience new cultures,” he said.
“But more importantly when you know songs you made have somehow found their way to the four corners of the earth and watch a crowd of entirely new faces sing a song that means everything to you.
“In its own way now has a meaning of its own to them, there is no feeling like it.
“I’m beyond excited for my first trip to Bahrain and to experience all it has to offer.”
Seal has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and has won four Grammys in the course of his career.
The concert will be held on March 24 at 8.30pm, and tickets range between BD15 to BD35.
The Spring of Culture festival runs until April 25 and is organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) in co-operation with the Economic Development Board (EDB).
