Oman-based A’ Saffa Foods, a leading poultry and processed food producer, has announced that its total net sales for 2015 reached RO31.86 million ($82.74 million).
The net sales for 2014 were RO30.45 million ($79.08 million), showing an increase in the company’s sales revenue, hence registering a growth of 4.63 per cent, added the Oman Daily Observer report.
The results were announced by the A’Saffa Foods chairman Shaikh Rashid Saif Mohammed al Saadi, who dedicated the growth results towards the excellent team work from all the expanding business units, with staff working hard to achieve the goals they were set to maximise shareholder returns, it said.
Speaking at A’Saffa Foods’ annual general meeting (AGM), the company’s chief executive officer Dr Nasser Zahir Nasser al Maawali said that the management continues to focus on the dynamic markets and is committed to improve over previous performance records.
He added that the focus on operational excellence is the key factor to future success of the company, creation of long term value to all the stakeholders while ensuring sustainability in its operations.
Al Saadi noted that with the company’s new range of processed food products helped achieve strong financial results in 2015, added the report.
