Abu Dhabi: Police arrested three Emiratis over involvement in a string of robberies in the Emirate of Ajman.
The thieves used to break into shops at night and steal money and merchandise before escaping from the scene of the crime.
Two brothers aged 19 and 20 years, live in Abu Dhabi, while their twenty-five-year-old accomplice lives in Umm Al Quwain.
The police raided their homes and confiscated 11 mobile phones, AED20,000, US banknotes and drug injections, in addition to a rented sports car that they used in their robberies.
