The Health Ministry announced that the total number of positive cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) has reached 26 in Bahrain, after three new cases were confirmed this morning.
The three new cases, all Bahraini women, had arrived at Bahrain International Airport from Iran via indirect flights.
"The results of the laboratory tests for the new cases that were conducted for the travellers immediately upon their arrival at the Bahrain International Airport, in the hall designated for testing, confirmed their infection with the virus and as a result necessary measures were taken to transfer them immediately to the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Health Centre in Salmaniya to receive the necessary treatment and care." said the ministry in a statement.
