Manama: Gulf International Bank (GIB) has announced its sponsorship of the Middle East Investment Conference taking place at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain today.
The conference brings together more than 300 senior investment professionals and offers a unique opportunity for delegates to get a first-hand insight from leading international thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts and key market participants.
The conference, being held under the patronage of Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Rasheed Al Maraj, is jointly hosted by the CFA Institute and CFA Society Bahrain.
“GIB is delighted to support the Middle East Investment Conference. The range of topics and speakers at the conference will foster a greater understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the Middle East,” GIB chief executive Abdulaziz Al Helaissi said.
GIB is celebrating its 40th anniversary across its key markets in the GCC, London and New York. Over the past 40 years, the bank has demonstrated its financial expertise with its primary business activities of corporate advisory, asset management, structured and project finance, and GCC capital markets mediation.
GIB was named “Best Investment Bank in Bahrain” and “Best Debt Bank in the Middle East” by the Global Finance Awards last year.
