Following my recent letter relating to a price rise, the sales team at Aqua Cool has contacted me to tell that I have inflated their price rise by a factor of 10 due to misplacing the decimal point.
The actual increase is 0.045 per bottle or one dinar per book of 22 vouchers (BD18). They have also reminded me of the advantage of home delivery and the extra benefit of having a moulded handle on the bottle to make it easier for lifting on to the cooler. Another reader has pointed out that in the timeframe, since the last price rise of this product, the cost of your newspaper – an item of similar quality and benefit – has doubled from 100 fils to 200.
