Abu Dhabi: A Pakistani teacher accused of molesting a female student appeared before the Criminal Court in Dubai.
The defendant taught the 11-year old girl Arabic language at a school and started giving her private tuition at her family's house two months ago.
The girl claimed that the defendant threatened her that she would never succeed unless she allows him for sexual advances.
“On the day of the incident, I went to the bedroom for half an hour and left my daughter with her teacher in the sitting room,” said the mother of the girl.
“As I didn’t hear any sound, I went to check and I was terrified to see that the man was molesting my daughter who was resisting and trying to push him away,” she told investigators.
The mother said that the defendant rushed to the door and ran away from the house when she started shouting hysterically.
The mother informed her husband who lodged a complaint with the police following which the Pakistani teacher was arrested, reported local Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm.
