MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad has issued directives to increase monthly allowances for 11,000 orphans and widows sponsored by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
He assigned the foundation, chaired by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and National Security Adviser, to oversee payment of the extra amount and follow up on implementation of the royal gesture aimed at alleviating the financial burden of orphans and widows .
