Lukas Bhilotra and Salma Fares will clash for the six-and-under title in the BTA Junior Tennis Tournament, organised by Bahrain Tennis Academy (BTA), at Dilmun Club, Saar.
In the eight-and-under category, Vyom Gupta, Abdulaziz Al Betairi, Hamza Moussa and Shamik Sarangi will clash in the semi-finals while the 10-and-under semi-finalists are Rohan Mukherjee, Rushikesh Sonawane, Boudica Verbeek and Hashem Halawani.
Competitors in the six-and-under category took part in skills competition where their basic strokes were tested for consistency and accuracy.
Competitors in the eight-and-under and 10-and-under sections took part in round-robin matches on the modified 36’ and 60’ courts designed to accelerate their development.
Each session concluded with all participants receiving a certificate for their efforts.
