Dubai: An Emirati national died in accident on Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, one of a busiest highways in Dubai.
The 19-year-old Emirati, a resident of Ajman, reportedly lost control of his car and crashed into a concrete barrier along the highway.
Director of the traffic department at Dubai Police Colonel Saif Al Mazroui told the Arabic daily newspaper Emarat Al Youm that the incident occurred on Shaikh Mohammad bin Zayed Road as the motorist was heading towards Sharjah.
The police identified the Emirati as Abdulla Hassan.
“Forensic experts are investigating the case to determine the technical cause of the accident,” said Col. Al Mazroui.
