Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has issued a decree on national terrorism lists and the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions under Chapter 7 of the UN Charter on the prohibition and suppression of terrorism and its financing, and prohibiting, curbing and halting proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their financing.
Under the decree, competent authorities, institutions and all natural and legal persons shall freeze funds available with them which belong to persons and entities on national terrorism lists or the schedule of penalties, without delay, from the date of publication, without prior warning to the designated person or entity .
