MANAMA: Investcorp announced its affiliate has acquired a majority stake in data analytics specialist KSM Consulting (KSMC) from Renovus Capital Partners.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Renovus will retain a minority stake in KSM Consulting.
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Indianapolis, KSMC delivers smart, custom solutions to the most complex challenges of more than 700 private and public sector organisations.
This is done by leveraging deep expertise in data analytics, technology and digital transformation.
The firm uses engineers, mathematicians, data analysts, and business professionals to solve mission-critical challenges, like accelerating ideal-fit company mergers and acquisitions through consolidated data reporting and technology integration.
KSMC’s chief executive Mark Caswell and president John Roach will continue in their leadership roles, said the statement.
In the past three years, it has grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in excess of 40 per cent, pro forma for acquisitions.
Investcorp’s partnership with KSMC will focus on continuing organic growth, expanding geographically across the United States and broadening service offerings into strategic adjacencies.
This will include seeking to complete strategic, value-creating acquisitions.
Investcorp’s private wealth head for Bahrain and Kuwait Mohamed Al Sada said: “KSMC represents a highly attractive investment opportunity with what we consider to be a unique position at the centre of two of our key focus areas where we have significant, dedicated expertise: professional and tech-enabled services. We were pleased that KSMC met all the key criteria we look for in potential investments across both of these verticals.”
