Energy drinks clamp unlikely
I hope they go ahead with this. Energy drinks are toxic waste in a can. I was an avid drinker until it almost killed me! Get rid of the trash! Drink coconut water instead.
@thegreatzubari
Energy drinks are bad! But alcohol is completely fine! Cigarettes are perfect! Vaping is the way to healthier lifestyle! Come on, now. Parliament should go back to important matters like pollution at beaches and pollution in the sea; finding ways to make Bahraini life easier not harder.
@awesomekhalid
These drinks cause palpitations, insomnia and are really bad for you. Some people go OTT and cause serious health issues! A good night’s sleep gives you all the energy you need.

What about ordinary Coke and Pepsi which have tonnes of sugar in them?
@borisnajafov
After a few years they will ban sugar also.

Solar panels and wind turbines to power new causeway
If they introduce day and night tariffs for electricity that will help reduce consumption. Many house appliances support it, so dishwashers, washing machines as well as electric car charging will all take place at night time and it will flatten the curve between the day and night.

Sickle cell patients told to ‘take the jab or risk infection’
That’s a horrible thing to say. They are already suffering from a horribly painful disease so it’s quite expected that they would be hesitant to take the vaccine. Maybe they should do some more vaccine education for these people so they are not afraid. Especially now with the news that only some vaccines are accepted.
@om_laila_630
This is very irresponsible, for vaccines that have no long-term efficacy data and that are not proven to stop transmission, so I’m not entirely sure how this is going to protect the community. If these patients have survived the last 14 months, why would they risk injecting something that has no specific studies in relation to sickle cell patients and these vaccines. Perhaps they would like to wait until the clinical trials are over so they can do more research and not become part of the research.
