MANAMA: A committee in charge of drawing up a comprehensive national strategy for electric vehicles has been set up in co-operation with the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry, Sustainable Energy Authority president Dr Abdulhussain Mirza said yesterday.
The plan will include details of electric car charging stations, types of charging sockets, tariffs, the authority entitled to issue charging station licences and the authority in charge of regulating such operations, he said .
