A warning against thundery showers and strong winds was issued by Meteorological Directorate at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry.
Thundery showers were expected to hit the kingdom with strong gusts causing rough seas and rising sands in places.
Wind: Mainly Easterly, 10 to 15 knots occasionally 15 to 20 knots and may reach 35 knots at times.
Sea State: 1 to 2 feet inshore, 3 to 5 feet offshore may rise up to 8 feet during gusts.
Temperature: Maximum 40 degrees Celsius and Minimum 30 degrees Celsius
