A man, aged 44, convicted in court cases in Bahrain has been extradited to the kingdom, in co-ordination with a friendly country.
The directorate of international affairs at the General Directorate for Anti-corruption, Economic and Electronic Security took necessary legal measures to bring the fugitive back to Bahrain.
The International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) issued a red notice, at the demand of the directorate of international affairs, leading to his arrest.
The extradited convict was handed over to competent authorities to serve jail terms.
The move was co-ordinated with the Public Prosecution and the enforcement directorate at the Interior Ministry.
