The need to address environmental issues especially climate change was the focus of discussions today between the Supreme Council for Environment chief executive Dr Mohammed Bin Daina and Cyprus Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Minister Costas Kadis.
The two sides agreed to work together in addressing climate change, and acknowledged it is a "global concern".
The officials were speaking during a press conference held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
Meanwhile, promoting investments was highlighted by Cyprus Energy, Commerce, and Industry Minister Natasa Pilides, who co-chaired the meeting with Industry Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Alzayani.
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades is currently heading a high-level delegation to Bahrain to discuss a wide range of issues.
