TWO auditing offices have been referred to the Auditors Disciplinary Board for not complying with international auditing standards.
The Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry urged audit offices to fully abide by professional norms, regulations and legislation regulating the profession in Bahrain.
“We will spare no effort to control all abuses and deal with them in accordance with the provisions of the law, in a way that enhances transparency, sustainability and confidence in the commercial and economic environment in Bahrain,” said a ministry statement yesterday.
“This contributes to investments and enhances the reputation of Bahrain and its position among the countries at all levels.”
