Five Arabian Gulf University (AGU) professors feature in the US Stanford University’s list of world’s top two per cent scientists.
They were among more than 190,000 scientists from different countries, of whom 18 academicians and researchers are from Bahrain.
Professor at Princess Al Jawhara Al Ibrahim Centre for Molecular Medicine, Genetics and Inherited Disorders Dr Khaled Gerish topped the Bahrain-based scientists and ranked 25,819th in the world.
The list also included Dr Randa Hamada, Dr Jameela Al Salman, Dr Kanaan Sridharan and Dr Haitham Jahromi.
