STUDENTS at Al Noor International School are celebrating exemplary Advanced Level results which have led to a combined outcome of 57 per cent of students achieving A*, A and B in the Cambridge A Level examinations held in June.
With a 100pc pass rate, eight students achieved 3A* with around 80pc of A Level students securing grades between A* to C.
Varahini Kamalarajan secured straight 3A* and two A’s in all the five subjects written in A Level demonstrating an exemplary and historical performance in Cambridge International Examinations.
The other seven students who secured A* in all three subjects are Namasha Arachchige, Naheen Kabir, Tumali Embuldeniya, Ashraf Yousef, Feloubatteir Rezkalla, Mohammed Yousef and Yusuf Shakeeb.
Sixteen students secured A* and A’s in all three subjects – Benhail Benroy, Dissanayake Dissanayake, Taif Ahmed, Abdelrahman Musleh, Fawaz Al Qasimi, Mustafa Shafiq, Fatima Quadir, Malakali Barakat, Roomina Butt, Sara Al Alawi, Yara Al Alawi, Marya Radhi, Zainab Husain, Yathumithaa Sivakumar, Mahmood Abdulla and Mohammed Abdulraheem.
There were also 44 A*, 83 A and 86 B grades.
The school is also celebrating strong Cambridge Advanced Subsidiary Level results with 100pc pass rate, 18 students achieving 3A, 50pc securing A and B grades, and 89 A and 70 B grades.
Around 77pc of AS Level students secured grades between A and C.
Straight 3A grades were achieved by Alaa Abdelwahab, Alezzandre Cabalt, Eman Ayaz, Ans Qasim, Daniyal Siddiqui, Fazeel Ahmed, Mohammed Badawy, Nadeev Acharige, Tushin Biswas, Youssef Sharaf, Nada Ahmed, Isuli Jayakody, Lokumeegodage Senaratne, Maryam Shabbir, Omar Ezzat, Feryal Alsaati, Ruqaiyah Shafik and Sareena Kelash.
