Abu Dhabi: The Ras Al-Khaimah police air wing rescued three tourists who got lost in Al-Sha’am mountains.
Two of the European tourists were found in the mountainous area before the traffic patrols department rescued the third hiker who had begun his descent from the mountain.
The UAE rescue teams supplied them with first aid and water before airlifting them by helicopter to a hospital in the Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah for treatment and full check-up, according to a report in Alittihad.
