A NUMBER of individuals have been arrested as part of an inspection campaign launched in the Capital Governorate.
The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and the Capital Governorate Police Directorate organised the drive to ensure compliance with provisions of the residence law. Violators will be deported following legal procedures.
NPRA’s search and follow-up director Lieutenant-Colonel Talal Nabeel Taqi and LMRA director of the Labour Inspection Directorate Hamad Faisal Mohammed Al Mulla urged the public to report complaints, if any, on labour market violations.
