Riyadh: The Saudi security authorities busted three secret wine factories in the province of Asir and arrested three illegal Ethiopian expatriates selling liquor and weapons.
The police patrols raided their locations and found 13 barrels of wine, 270 bottles of locally-made liquor and weapons in the Governorate of Khamis Masheet, according to report in Arabic daily newspaper Okaz.
They also shut down another wine factory operating in a flat in Khamis and caught three illegal expatriates who were running a secret liquor business.
Another Ethiopian national was arrested in the province of the Governorate of Uhud Rafida in Asir in possession of a machine gun and 29 live bullets.
Six other Ethiopians who were with him have also been arrested and referred to the competent authorities.
