Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry Under-Secretary for Land Transportation and Post Sami Buhazza has stressed the importance for the Bahrain-Qatar Causeway Authority to carry on with its activities and continue to work on developing designs and execution plans for this crucial project.
This is important given its significant positive impact in strengthening the solid and historical ties binding citizens in the two countries to achieve their aspirations for rapprochement and facilitate travel movement between the two countries, he said.
“We, in Bahrain, renew the call to engage in bilateral talks in accordance with the mechanisms agreed upon in the AlUla Declaration,” he said, citing the invitation issued by the Bahraini Foreign Ministry on January 11, 2021 to its Qatari counterpart to start bilateral talks and another invitation addressed on February 22, 2021.
