A commercial airline in Kuwait has been ordered to pay a citizen KD4,400 (BD5,395) as compensation for a five-day delay in the arrival of his luggage at his destination.
The ruling was carried out by the Court of Cassation's Commercial and Partial Civil Section after the citizen's lawyer gave information about the case on his client's behalf, Al-Seyassah newspaper reported.
The lawyer said that the issue occurred as his client was in transit at Dubai International Airport on a flight from Kuwait International Airport to another country and that the delay caused him various difficulties.
