Bahrain are stepping up preparations to take part in the Jiu-Jitsu World Championship, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from November 2 to 9.
General Sports Authority deputy chairman and Bahrain Martial Arts Council chairman Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa visited the national team, who are training for the upcoming contest.
He was received by Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation chairman Reza Ebrahim Monfaradi, deputy chairman Ahmed Janahi, secretary general Hussein Al Tarif and other officials.
Shaikh Salman attended part of the training, led by national jiu-jitsu team coach Sergio Moraes.
He met the fighters and stressed the importance of getting ready physically and technically, expressing his confidence in the team’s ability to achieve positive results and honour the kingdom.
