Bahrain beat Abu Dhabi Harlequins 37-15 at Zayed Sports City to notch up their second successive win in the 2022-23 West Asia Rugby Premiership, writes ADNAN SIPRA.
An intensely competitive first half, which saw both teams getting the upper hand in turns, eventually ended with Bahrain leading 15-7.
The Harlequins made a better start in the second half but Bahrain regained their momentum after the Abu Dhabi team had managed to make the score 12-20 and, with 10 minutes left in the game, the kingdom’s team led 25-15. After that, it was all Bahrain as they added 12 more to their score to win 37-15.
Bahrain’s next fixture is a home game against Jebel Ali Dragons on November 5.
