British YouTuber Theo Ogden has taken up what he has dubbed "The Impossible Challenge" as he bids to become the first person ever to attend every single game at a World Cup tournament.
The YouTuber, known online as Thogden, is attempting to attend all 64 World Cup matches. And he has been successful in doing that so far.
"We had the idea of doing a challenge because we saw the stadiums were so close together," Ogden said in an interview with The Mirror.
Achieving such a feat would have been impossible in previous tournaments, but the eight stadiums in which the games are being held in the host country are all relatively close together.
In order to complete the challenge, Ogden chose to leave some group stage games at half–time to make it to other matches held simultaneously.
The official Guinness record for ‘Most World Cup games attended’ is currently held by South African fan Thulani Ngcobo, who went to 31 games in 2010.
Ogden is documenting his wild journey on his YouTube channel with more than one million subscribers.
