A special training course in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was organised by the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) for members of the Bahrain Association for Parents and Friends of the Disabled and the Bahrain Mobility International Centre.
It was held at Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa where participants were briefed about the basics of providing emergency first aid either by themselves or by guiding others around them until medical services arrive.
The training was supervised by BRCS vice head of the first aid committee Fatima Abdul Rahman who said: “The course reflects the society’s keenness to intensify rehabilitation programmes essential for relief and humanitarian work, to keep people ready to provide support in case of accidents or disasters.”
