BAHRAIN International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday that it has completely sold out the Turn 1 Grandstand tickets with two weeks still to go for the start of the weekend’s events in the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023.
The Turn 1 Grandstand has a capacity of 7,500 spectators and it overlooks the first of 15 turns along BIC’s 5.412-kilometre Grand Prix track. It has been renamed in honour of seven-time F1 drivers’ world champion Michael Schumacher, and is one of the most famous locations at the circuit. As a key point for overtaking, there is always plenty of action at the turn, particularly right after the lights go out for the race start as the field heads into the ultra-tight corner side by side.
The Turn 1 Grandstand joins BIC’s 10,500-capacity Main Grandstand, the circuit’s Corporate Lounges and the F1 Paddock Club as being sold out for the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend.
Tickets continue to sell fast and only a limited number are available, along with a pair of hospitality options.
Tickets and hospitality packages can be bought online at BIC’s official website bahraingp.com or by calling the hotline +973-17-450000.
Given the popularity of hospitality for 2023, the two new hospitality options are The Dome Lounge and The Champions Club.
There is limited availability at the Dome Lounge — a brand-new concept, designed to be an entry-level hospitality offering.
For race week, the BIC dome will be transformed into an exclusive hospitality venue, with the package including three-day hospitality in the Dome Lounge inclusive of food, a dedicated grandstand on the main straight, and access to the exclusive Fashion TV after-party.
The Champions Club is designed for F1 fans that want a mix of top-level hospitality and also behind-the-scenes access and insight for the duration of the race weekend. The package includes Beyon Grandstand trackside seating, access to The Champions Club lounge offering premium hospitality with gourmet food and beverages, as well as guided paddock tours and many other experiences.
The F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2023 is set to open this year’s FIA F1 World Championship. Three days of top-class motorsport will be complemented by plenty of entertaining attractions that include roaming acts, stage shows, carnival rides, kids’ activities, and a pair of concerts featuring A-list artists DJ Snake and Craig David.
