A new website link dedicated to provide visitor information about parks in the country was launched during the Bahrain International Garden Show by Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak.
The site has been created in co-operation with the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry, National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) and Bahrain University.
It also allows visitors to provide their ratings based on their experiences at the venues.
“The website documents the national infrastructure of public parks and gardens,” NIAD head of works development Asmaa Mohammed told the GDN.
“It provides information and map features. People can also rate the parks in the country which will help contribute to our understanding of their usage and also help the municipalities manage them.”
A’ali Grand Park, Abu Ghazal Garden in Manama, Abu Sobeh Walkway in Duraz and Al Ansar Garden in Riffa are among the attractions featured.
